I got a Nook the other day and I love it so much. I'm definitely reading a lot more now. A lot of it has to do with not having to run out to the book store and buy books. Not to mention, I can get most of the books I want to read for free.

I know I can do that on the computer, but I hate reading full books on the computer. It's not as comfortable as sitting on the couch and reading a good book.

I got a Nook too and I love it.

First of all, I love the e-ink [Censor]. The think that makes reading ebooks on a computer [Censor] is the screen. It's too bright and it makes my eyes tired and feel strained after about an hour. But the e-ink [Censor] makes me feel like I'm reading a real book.

Second, I can either download free books from illlllllegal sources or free ones from google books.

Third, if I feel like buying a book, it's (a) cheaper, and (b) easier to get. When the closest book store is a half hour away, it seriously cut down on my reading time because I couldn't buy a bunch of books at once because they can be expensive, and I didn't want to go out there too often because it just wastes gas.

Fourth, I have a bookshelf with something like 300 books on it and no more room for anymore. I can hold 1,500 books on my Nook, and buy more storage.

And finally, I can even loan books from libraries through my nook.

You know, I didn't like the e-ink at first, because I wanted a LCD screen. Especially at night. But you know what, I know what you mean now by it would hurt your eyes and most likely put strain on them at night.

It feels/like a real book, minus that horrible texture real books have. By the way, I hate the feeling of book paper and I hate writing with pencils on paper. I cringe often.

Like you said, it's way better than having a million and one books lying around. And I don't even think I have a place in my bedroom for a bookcase.

I know you do.

If you didn't, I would leave your [Censor] behind.
