Okay, so we have all of this cool stuff with points and being robbed etc etc etc. But there needs to be something we can use our points for. In the real world, people use money to buy what they want or what they need. They have a goal set for what they want to purchase and they get to that goal through hard work. I have no idea what people could work for to purchase with points, so maybe you guys could help me with ideas there. What do you guys think?

I can't think of anything at the moment for what points could be spent on, though.

As a side note: has anyone successfully robbed someone? I tried robbing just about all of you yesterday and failed on every attempt. And I believe Cisco's failed all his robbing attempts, as well.

Before I get to your idea and the future of the point system, I will explain some things.

The bank and robbery is mainly for competition. For example, maybe I hate that Josh has two thousand more points than me, so I'll try to rob him or gain more points to get ahead of him. And of course, I could deposit my money in the bank and collect interest every week (you need a great amount of points to get a lot back from interest). In other words, it's to get more people to make post, reply, and since you can get points per word in your topic, to make longer posts.

The only problem with this is, not everybody is competitive.

As for the future of the point system, there is a shop mod that works with the point system, but since its latest update, it doesn't work anymore. I'm waiting for the developer to fix his issue before I put the coding on the forums. Otherwise, it would be there and not functioning. And I'm not really sure what do it with as of now. I don't know how you guys feel about buying icons, etc. I'll give you more details on it in the future of what it actually does. I'll also keep an eye of out mods that work wit the point system and so it will be more than just competition.
